Failure is another stepping stone to greatness and that comes from Oprah Winfrey. Woohoo. I love that one. So help me welcome today Ms. Patricia Hernandez Ivory. She has helped guide over 700 women to stop guessing, heal at the root, and transform their bodies. Midlife. Please help me welcome Patricia.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: Hello.
[00:02:44] Speaker D: Hi, Cindy. Thank you so much for having me.
[00:02:47] Speaker B: Thank you so much for being here. So, you know, I always say there's a cause and effect. There's a reason why people chose their careers and the the avenues and paths that they've taken. Tell me about us.
How'd you get here? How did you get to basically helping women stay fit and deal with the root causes of hormonal imbalances, et cetera, et cetera et cetera.
[00:03:08] Speaker D: Over 40, right? I love it. Yeah, well, I've been always into health and fitness my entire life. And, you know, I was eating organic food when people didn't know that what they were eating was, Was not organic. You know, back in the day. I'm from Brazil originally, so grew up with a very, you know, how can I say, health diet kind of a thing. And.
But, you know, I was already helping women with weight loss with, you know, putting on muscle, body composition, that kind of stuff.
And.
And then 42 hit me and everything starts to go south, right. And here I am doing all the right things, working out, and I haven't bikini competition shows, you know, knew how to do everything, eating properly, and my body just stopped responding.
And went to the doctors and they were like, especially almost nine years ago, we just now talking about perimenopause and those kind of things. Imagine, nine years ago, nobody was talking
[00:04:15] Speaker B: about, like, didn't exist. It's like a secret society. Correct.
[00:04:19] Speaker D: And secret society.
[00:04:21] Speaker B: I love that. Yeah, just deal with it and get over it. Just get over it.
[00:04:25] Speaker D: And on top of that, what about this stigma, you know, around like, what, like anything with meno in the middle? Like, no, I'm getting old. Good for nothing. Because I remember my mom went through flipping hell and back, but it just hit me like a ton of break. And I didn't know what was happening.
My, you know, I ended up having to do a surgery. I didn't do hysterectomy, but my doctor, you know, we had a tons of polyps in my uterus. I developed endometriosis, which I never had before.
You know, very painful intercourse is like bleeding all the time. Gained weight out of nowhere, you know, developed H. Pylori, you know, because your microbiome just changes as your hormone starts to shift, you know, and how can I say in a more acute way, if you will.
And I didn't know any of that.
Neither did my doctor. So I remember, you know, having this conversation with her. She's like, you know what, Patricia, I know you were a health coach. I know you, you were doing everything good. But maybe go look into anything, you know, about estrogen. I, I have a feeling that this is something with estrogen, but I can't tell you. And she's one of the top OBGYNs in Orange County.
And. But it's like, I really don't know how to help you with this. And I was just like, okay, so, you know, doctors just wanted to give him antibiotics, those kind of things. And I went on that route for a little bit because I just wanted to feel better.
But it wasn't helping, right? It wasn't healing. It wasn't. You know, I continue, you know, to spiral down into the whole perimenopause thing.
So I just decided to take the matters into my own hands and went all into the naturopathic, the functional route and, you know, start doing some different tests that are the conventional, you know, regular lab work. Won't show you anything. Doctors don't even know how to read, you know, what's happening there with your hormones. They say, you know, don't even. What's the point? You know, if we fluctuate so much, you know, there is no point to even do the blood of work. And I learned that that's not a truth.
So I was able to. Then, you know, I was able to hire a coach that was very good with that, with the functional part of things. And we were able to treat the whole situation with the H. Pylori just with the proper functional nutrition and, you know, proper target supplements. And from there I was able to. I figured out that I was estrogen dominant, so that was the cause of all this stuff that was happening. And I was able to detoxify my estrogen, but I learned that my pathways weren't detoxifying estrogen. So it was a mess, right? But I started to get very fascinated about the reason why things were happening the way that they were and then got my body back balanced, my hormones again, felt fantastic again. And this coach opened up a university for you to take certifications and learn the whole process with him. And I was like, are you kidding me right now? Sign me up.
So I jumped right in there and, you know, and I just took my certification. And of course, you know, I'm a coach. So then I start attracting the women, my age group, of course, and they were all getting stuck as well.
So everything came at the right time, to be honest, because I was start. I was starting to see that the woman that I was starting to coach, the macros, the more protein, the workouts weren't working anymore.
So it's. It's just amazing, right? And when I learned that I was able to pivot my entire method to actually help them break through and. And then the. The rest is history.
So you're.
[00:08:29] Speaker B: You're Brazilian born, Their food is normally good? Yeah. Like organic.
[00:08:34] Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
[00:08:34] Speaker B: Do you think a lot of that transition when you got here to Arizona, where, because a lot of times food is just poison, unfortunately, you have to Eat, you know, but these days you don't know what's in the food. What do you think?
Just in your opinion, you know, what do you think? How do you think food, the selections of food, organic versus natural, there's a difference now certified versus them saying it's organic and you know, natural garden grown foods versus the processed foods. What do you think that has to do with or how does it play into fluctuating hormones?
[00:09:08] Speaker D: I think it has a huge part for sure.
[00:09:11] Speaker B: Yeah, me too.
[00:09:12] Speaker D: You know, definitely, absolutely. Especially when you think about estrogen dominance. Right. When you are, you know, even perfumes and lotions and you know, pollution, all
[00:09:24] Speaker B: those things will, you can't get around. It's just a part of your planet Earth.
[00:09:29] Speaker D: Correct. And you know, in plastics, in all those things. Right. That we started to introduce into our diet as well in our environment.
But I think it's also very, you know, connected to the liver detoxification.
So our liver, you know, can do great work, but we can only handle so much of toxin no matter how healthy you think you eat. Right. So there are other things that will play into this.
And that's one of the things that I found is that my liver wasn't detoxifying properly. We had three pathways to break down estrogen and one of them were pretty much clogged, if you will.
So I had to work on my liver detoxification pathways so my estrogen wouldn't stay recirculating inside of my body.
And back then I went crazy. Like, I went all in, girl. I cleaned up my house with all kinds of, I chose everything natural and terms of, you know, no chemicals. You know, I, I dropped all the plastics. I was just getting water bottles from like, you know, pretty much glass.
I, I went all in. I could change my perfume, I changed.
[00:10:42] Speaker B: I need to have a piece of body.
Yeah, a piece of body.
[00:10:47] Speaker D: Yeah. Because I was just like, there's just no way. So I think plays a huge part nowadays. I, I, I think that just by learning how to play with target supplements and peptides, I'm really big with that as well. I have been able to keep my, I'm always looking up for my, my, my inflammation markers and for my liver detoxification, if that is good. It's already doing the heavy lifting, you know, but the nutrition plays a huge part of it.
[00:11:18] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And, and the sad part about it, a lot of times, even down to something as simple as coffee cream, you're finding that it's loaded with vegetable oil.
[00:11:34] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:11:35] Speaker B: You're not even doing like saturated fats or you're not even, you know, into vegetable oils unless you're cooking, you know, some type of baked item.
You'll just be surprised.
[00:11:46] Speaker D: You know, you gotta, you gotta learn how.
[00:11:49] Speaker B: You've gotta learn. And then if you are exposed to it, just try to, you know, kind of keep it in moderation, you know. I remember the first time I learned that because I had a wellness spa a couple years ago before selling. And one of the things I remember, it was almost like a slow devastation at the blow of that information because, you know, you. You're allowing yourself or positioning yourself. Like you said, you went through your whole house, you know, just trying to clean up your diet, trying to, you know, live cleaner. Not everything, but it's like one will thing a day, you know, One. Correct.
[00:12:25] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:12:26] Speaker B: Accumulate. And to find that something so small slipped in.
And I'll never forget one of my clients, she says, Cindy, she said, look at the coffee cream too. And I'm like, no, wait a minute. Because I have the oat milk and yada, yada, yada. And she said the coffee cream has vegetable oil in it.
And I remember I pulled my glasses because the print was so small.
[00:12:51] Speaker D: Correct.
[00:12:51] Speaker B: It was devastating because it was like two different flavors that I would go between.
[00:12:56] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:12:56] Speaker B: And whenever, you know, the, the grocery would be out of one, I get the other. So to see that, it's like, you know what this is like crash and burn. You're thinking you're along a path. Correct. You understand? And there it is. They've slipped something in your food that you didn't even know existed or even made sense to be in your.
[00:13:14] Speaker D: But you didn't even had the.
How can I say, the choice. Right. You didn't have the opportunity to choose. I want to eat this crap and I don't want to eat this.
[00:13:26] Speaker B: Yes, yes.
You've got, you know, preservative. No preservatives, no cornstarch, blah, blah, blah. And you flip it over and see something in fine print that basically encompasses all of those things you just said on the front that you don't have.
[00:13:42] Speaker D: Correct. And they always stay. Put it there on the, on the label.
[00:13:46] Speaker A: Right.
[00:13:46] Speaker D: Organic.
[00:13:48] Speaker B: Yeah. So that was definitely devastating. So let me ask you this. So how did you take this midlife crisis and turn it into a six, seven figure business? Tell us about that.
[00:14:01] Speaker D: Oh, gosh, I. That's a good question.
You know, I don't think pain into purpose. Right. I never really, I never really thought about. Yes. I'm a You know, big dreamer. You know, I always wanted to be a business owner, have my. My own thing.
But I just saw the need of the women that were coming to me.
Losing their minds. I can't. Patricia. I cannot recognize myself. I hate this. The image that I see in the mirror. I feel like a dead fish. I remember a woman telling me, I feel like a dead fish. I feel nothing. I love my husband, but have no libido. I. My body doesn't respond. I'm g. You know, there was just like, I. I feel like I'm losing my mind. You know, I am super moody. I'm raging in anger. Or some of them would be crying. Like, I cry like a baby for everything I just saw, you know, this broken, desperate women that, you know, the majority of them weren't like, didn't have those issues prior of turning 40. It was literally a hormonal imbalance that it was taking place. And they would go to the doctor like I did. Right. And they had no idea. Oh, it's just part of aging. You know, I remember one doctor telling me, patricia, I know you. You take care of yourself really well. And I can see that you, you know, you. You're really into beauty, that kind of thing. But we know at some point we got a sapped, you know, that age is gonna.
Seriously, girl. I was like, oh, no. You just did not say that to me. So what?
[00:15:42] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:15:43] Speaker D: That I am in denial. So the gaslighting, it's ridiculous. You know what I mean? With some of those doctors, instead of
[00:15:49] Speaker B: just saying, you don't have the answer.
[00:15:51] Speaker D: Correct. You know what?
[00:15:53] Speaker B: I can more respect. I can more respect have the answer.
[00:15:56] Speaker D: Thank you.
I. And only.
[00:15:59] Speaker B: Yeah. And then you insulting me.
[00:16:01] Speaker D: She's like, I'm sorry, girl, I don't know how to help you.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: But I can more respect that than creating a story, creating a narrative and insulting me. Like, what am I paying you for?
[00:16:11] Speaker D: Yeah, I. I was livid, too. And I was just like, okay. And this is what I was getting on the calls with the women that are coming.
[00:16:20] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:16:21] Speaker D: To talk to me. So my heart just burned with that because it just comes with this unfairness.
[00:16:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:28] Speaker D: You know, like, oh. And now on top of that, I'm going to be bullied into this.
[00:16:31] Speaker B: Yeah. While you're trying to live, things are dying.
[00:16:35] Speaker D: Right.
[00:16:35] Speaker B: I'm like, why you're trying to live? Things are dying and you don't realize it. And so it's a fight. It's always a fight.
[00:16:45] Speaker D: It is a fight. It's an upper hill Fight. Absolutely. So it just, it just became the me trying to fill in the gap.
Right. And getting the certifications and bringing the team that I knew, you know, what I couldn't do, I would hire somebody that knew. And as you know, I put together my team, which they are absolutely amazing.
We were able to start helping. Then the word of mouth just, you know, I've never, you know, just lately I start running ads, but didn't need. Everything was just full blown organic.
[00:17:19] Speaker B: So you basically found your purpose, I
[00:17:23] Speaker D: guess we can call it that.
[00:17:24] Speaker B: Found your purpose. How does your faith intertwine with what you're doing when you're working with people? Because there's no cookie cutter. I've dealt with women's groups and like I said, the wellness spa that I had and, and, you know, organic creams and, you know, keep this up and all that. All of it. Skin tightening. All of it.
[00:17:43] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:44] Speaker B: You know, you have people that have body dysmorphia.
[00:17:48] Speaker D: Oh, my.
[00:17:48] Speaker B: And then you have some that absolutely accept the fact that something has. Is going on.
How can I change it?
These are things that even though we can have all the wisdom in the world and all the certifications that are allowed, there's a, A deeper level because there's no cookie cutter. Every person is different and unique in their own way. So that's why I ask you, how does your faith play into that? How does your, your faith play into what your, or I will say, guide what you're doing with these ladies, for them to have, you know, results, transformative results from what you're doing?
[00:18:27] Speaker D: I love this question. And nobody. And I've been in quite a few podcasts and nobody ever asked me that question. Because that's one thing I say, I can teach you protocols, I can teach you, you know, certifications. But there is one. But there is a certain level of, how can I say. I would say the faith people call intuition. When I am working with this woman that, you know, if you listening clearly, you were like, okay, but this one is right. How I apply, how I create the protocols effective to. To be effective for her person, for her situation, for what is going on with her.
Honestly, I have to give, you know, the credit to the Holy Spirit a lot of.
[00:19:19] Speaker B: Absolutely. There you go. I knew it was there.
[00:19:22] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:19:25] Speaker B: Okay, listen, I'm not gonna drill you today, but that is a, A significant element because every person is different.
You have to have discernment and be attuned so you can hear. Because they're not going to receive transformative Results with you doing the same thing that you did with Betty and Laura and Sue.
Every person is.
[00:19:49] Speaker D: And when people wanted you, like, oh, so how is it going to be? I'm.
[00:19:52] Speaker B: I'm. There you go.
[00:19:53] Speaker D: Here's the thing.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: There you go. Yes.
[00:19:54] Speaker D: You have to trust the process, because I can't tell you that I'm gonna. I'm gonna give you something that I just have an inclination when I'm talking to you one on one. Right. But I'm constantly tapping place with the Holy Spirit. Even right now with you on this call, I'm having that internal prayer.
[00:20:13] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:20:14] Speaker D: Thank you for helping me. Give me that.
[00:20:15] Speaker B: Absolutely.
[00:20:17] Speaker D: Help me see this. So there's this constant, like tapping into that place with the Holy Spirit, asking him to lead me, guiding. Show me what direction should I go? Should I do that?
[00:20:27] Speaker B: Yes, indeed.
[00:20:28] Speaker D: And then boom. And then it just trusts the voice. And. And when I do, it just. It just works.
[00:20:33] Speaker B: It works. It works. You know, and I often tell people a lot of times when they try to negate that very important factor.
[00:20:42] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:20:42] Speaker B: When we are able to deal with individuals, especially the dynamics of women.
[00:20:49] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:20:49] Speaker B: With grace and poise and results, it is no strength of our own.
[00:20:54] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:20:55] Speaker B: That's a grace and that's a power that comes from the Holy Spirit that you cannot sit there and say, I did, I did, I did.
[00:21:01] Speaker D: No. Yeah.
[00:21:02] Speaker B: You cannot. Sometimes it's like you're shocked yourself. And it's like, like, Lord Jesus, I know you did that. I know. You know what I mean? It's like you're shocked yourself. But, you know, when you're gifted, you didn't get the gift just by happenstance.
[00:21:18] Speaker D: That gift was right on the book. And you.
[00:21:20] Speaker B: There you go. It does not happen that way. So a lot of times, even with myself. How do you get all of those women to get along?
How do you get all of those women to move and sing? Well, you know, you gotta listen.
[00:21:33] Speaker D: You.
[00:21:33] Speaker B: You gotta listen and keep your heart postured where that portal is open for that information, not be talking so much. I always say, you know, God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. You have to listen.
[00:21:46] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:21:47] Speaker B: Listen more than you speak. So then you've got two times information coming in your ears, in your heart, in your spirit, and then your mouth comes open with it. It's not a magic trick. That's divine. Divine intervention. That's divine information. That's him getting the glory out of everything that we set our hands to do.
[00:22:06] Speaker D: Amen. Yeah. Absolutely. So good. Yeah. Because everything. Everything Ministry, Right. I love that.
[00:22:12] Speaker B: Yes, it is. And that was the thing. And when I was talking to you, that's what I was. I was. I was like. It's almost like I'm listening to you. But I was recalling my wellness spa and how the ladies would say, oh, my God, Cindy, it's not just what I get on the table with the service. It's what I get off the table. Through your mouth.
[00:22:35] Speaker D: So good.
[00:22:37] Speaker B: It's what I get off the table. And I remember because I. I have always been the type of person to try to keep things in a box.
You know, this is personal, this is business.
And then, you know what I mean, this is family, this is friends. And premiering over that is an umbrella, which is my spiritual life. But I'm not one that'll beat somebody over the head with my spiritual life. No, you see what I mean?
[00:23:02] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm the same. Yeah.
[00:23:03] Speaker B: I'll just, you know, let you be who you are, and I'll just keep you in prayer. But the gist of it is when they say, how can you do this and do that and do this, though I don't feel like I always do it well. I do the best that I can. It's because of that umbrella of my spiritual life.
[00:23:20] Speaker C: Amen.
[00:23:20] Speaker B: It's over everything.
So what made you do this? What made you decide to do that? It's my spiritual life that is an umbrella. Thank you. Over everything.
You see what I'm saying?
[00:23:33] Speaker D: Absolutely.
[00:23:33] Speaker B: And so when you're dealing with different people, with their different personalities and their different elements, and. And I remember sometimes I was doing the certifications for the wellness. I did not mean to go one on one with these clients. Clients.
I was the person certifying people for the state or, you know, for wanting to start a business with it.
[00:23:53] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:23:53] Speaker B: On my leisure. And it turned into, there's something going on with your hands. Like, oh, my God. You know, it's like your hands. You've got healing in your hands. And I'm like, chuckling, like, oh, my God. I mean, I've been exposed. You know what I mean?
It's like, oh, my God. How did they know that even that. Even with that. He was letting me know that he's letting them know that he's in it.
You know, people say the devil is in the details. No, God is in the details.
[00:24:23] Speaker D: God's so good.
[00:24:23] Speaker B: God is in the details. He's in the details. And a lot of times we overlook that, trying to mask it as something that it's not. But he's in the details.
He's in the details. So when they say midlife crisis, you know, their hidden strengths in that midlife crisis. Some people say midlife crisis are in their 30s. But no, it actually progresses. You know, it actually progresses. I mean, how do you. How did you look at that? Like, as at, is it a crisis or is it a level of development and growth and. And redefinition, redefining character? How do you look at that midlife stage?
[00:25:04] Speaker D: I believe that, you know, like you said, it progresses. Absolutely.
But at first there is that shock.
[00:25:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:12] Speaker D: That takes place because we didn't get the memo.
Right. It's not in the Bible. You know what I mean? Like, wait, nobody, right? So we didn't get the memo, Right. We weren't prepared for this. At least our generation, you know, I believe that, you know, moving forward, they
[00:25:32] Speaker B: have much more information.
[00:25:33] Speaker D: Right.
[00:25:34] Speaker B: They're gonna be than those before us. And us, we created the information. Digging.
[00:25:38] Speaker D: They didn't. Yeah, we didn't have it. My mom didn't have your grandmother. I didn't have it. You know, so it was very like, you know, remember when we go, you know, to school, you know, because I say, and a lot of people say that too, is that, you know, perimenopause, menopause is like on reverse. Right. Well, when we were, you know, going through those times, we in school, we got taught, yeah, this is what's going to expect. This is what happens to girls. This is what happens to boys. Like, we have all this preparation for, oh, this is normal. Oh, you would talk if you got in trouble. You're crying. In, in the classroom, out of nowhere, they would pull your mom in there. She's going through puberty. You know, this is normal. There is this hormone imbalance, blah, blah, blah, Boys are punching walls, all this. Normally have a lot of testosterone, blah, blah, blah. Right.
We had no, no explanation that, hey, girl, this is what's going to happen to you besides of like, you know, you just see your mom suffering through and you have no idea what's happening there. And now she's old and wrinkled and fat, and you're like, oh my gosh, what just happened to my mom? And nobody knows. Right?
So I think that first was that shock, and now women turn. Tend to internalize.
Right. What is wrong with me? Yeah, I'm doing all these things and, you know, my body's not responding and I'm feeling like a mess. Am I losing my mind? What's going on here?
And, but, and then I think when it came, that resolve, you know, it's like, no, no, no, wait a minute. I do not believe. I refuse to believe that God would allow us to go through this. This part of life. I mean, no women, no woman is going to get out of this life without going through perimenopause, menopause, period. Right. So I don't believe that he would let that be the 10 years of terror, you know, for us just to take our life. This is it. It's over for us, and there is no answers, and. And we're just going to be miserable for 10 years. You know, I. I just refuse to believe that that was the case because.
[00:27:49] Speaker B: Right.
[00:27:49] Speaker D: So when I decided to see the pain, see the chaos, and I start to look into the. Not the conventional, and I start to learn how to play with those hormones.
[00:28:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:04] Speaker D: And I learn how to. Oh, this is how you pivot. This is what you do. And I was open to the process.
I feel so empowered that I'm like, oh, no, I got.
[00:28:17] Speaker B: I can believe that because I remember with my daughter and the girls that I, you know, was raising during their pivotal times, you know, from. From foster care.
[00:28:26] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:28:26] Speaker B: I remember telling them, like, my best advice for them becoming teenagers. I said, listen. I said, you know, hormones, they're bad suckers. I said, they are some bad. Sucks bad in a good way, and they could be bad in a bad way. I said, you have to learn to control them, not let them control you.
[00:28:44] Speaker D: Yeah, pretty much, yeah.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:46] Speaker D: And so I learned how to control them.
[00:28:48] Speaker B: There you go. You've. You've tapped into what works for your body to control.
[00:28:52] Speaker D: Oh, now I'm 51. No brain fog. Energy through the roof.
[00:28:58] Speaker B: That's awesome.
[00:28:59] Speaker D: I can't take my hands off of my house. My husband. It's not the opposite. Like, babe, whatever you want, keep going, girl, because this is amazing. Like, I've never seen so much on fire.
The story that we. We don't talk about it, you know, I see this woman with broken relationships because they disconnected. They don't have intimacy. And what is it that. What is the point of a marriage if you don't have that? You know? And. And do you know that 70% of the divorces are initiated by women between the age of 40 and 55?
[00:29:34] Speaker B: You know, I didn't know that, but I. What I did know, what I do know, is that a lot of times, like we said earlier, women, regardless of what it is, they suffer in silence. There was another guest that I was talking to as well, talking about the Traumatic things that happened, you know, when. When she was younger. And as a whole, one in five when, you know, women are younger, a lot of times we don't address those things. And sometimes you don't want to. You know, myself, I've even been guilty of, like, you know, blocking things out. You know, I couldn't go through and just completely have a meltdown. I have to keep it moving. I've got a lot on my plate, a lot of things I asp. Desire still to do. And so I don't like waller and spilled milk.
[00:30:13] Speaker D: I don't have time for this. Yeah, there you go.
[00:30:15] Speaker B: And so over time, you're going to start to bleed out if you don't take time to heal from whatever that is. And a lot of times the healing journey comes with verbiage.
You have to know that something is broken that needs to be fixed or something is out of order that needs to be placed back in order. If there's no order, there's chaos. And that's the same thing within our bodies.
We have to call things to order, you know, or at least investigate or research and learn and learn.
[00:30:47] Speaker D: Put it together.
[00:30:48] Speaker B: And there you go. Precisely. Precisely.
[00:30:52] Speaker D: Because one thing that I see. Go ahead.
[00:30:54] Speaker B: No, you're fine. Go ahead.
[00:30:56] Speaker D: I see. You know, when you just touched on a subject that, you know, it's like, okay, now we have all the information.
I love that. Right? We have this overload, inflammation information of, you know, all that is happening with the hormones and the perimenopause and menopause.
But now I can see the women are coming from a place of.
I have no idea what in the heck is going on with me. Yeah, I'm overwhelmed with all things for disinformation, and they are trying to piece this thing together.
[00:31:32] Speaker B: Alone.
[00:31:33] Speaker D: Alone with more. Because once again, let's go back to do this thing alone.
I should figure it out. This.
[00:31:40] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. You know, yeah.
[00:31:42] Speaker D: And I'm not gonna say you can't, but here's what I'm gonna tell you. You're gonna have to go get this. The certification and study. And even for me, I have to hire a coach. For me, I have to hire somebody that knew I wasn't just like, you know, punching my way through it. I'm like, who is gonna help me navigate me so I can get this thing together? So I see now women just like, oh, yeah, I just did this research, you know, I just tried this. Now I heard this on the podcast, you know, this guru, blah, blah, blah. And they keep pissing and Playing trial with their own bodies. You know, it's like they're in the lab working with their own bodies.
[00:32:23] Speaker B: Like. Yeah.
[00:32:24] Speaker D: And a lot of times they nest things out more. Because once again, the information right here that you're getting from me on this podcast don't apply.
This is just information.
Because this does not apply to you personally. Just going back to the customization.
[00:32:43] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:32:44] Speaker D: You are, you know, cookie cutter. There is no cookie cutter. This is just a general thing. It's not for you to get out of this call right now and go like, okay, she said I got to do this. She said, I got to do that. And I'm going to go.
[00:32:54] Speaker B: And it's okay to research it.
It's okay to research it.
[00:32:58] Speaker D: Absolutely.
[00:32:59] Speaker B: To your own conclusion. But it's not like I would say verbatim, this is what you should.
[00:33:07] Speaker D: Here's what I'm going to say. There's a difference between research for your education and applying.
[00:33:13] Speaker B: Yes. You took the word out of my mouth. Yes.
[00:33:15] Speaker D: Yes to not understanding your blood work, not understanding why. This is. Because you can make it worse by adding things. I've seen people doing that right now with peptides. Not even talking about the Ozemp. I'm talking about different kinds of peptides.
And they are. And they can create an even more chaos in their bodies by adding things when the body is not ready to receive that. Just because they heard that, somebody took in and felt amazing on that.
[00:33:45] Speaker B: It makes sense, you know? Yeah.
[00:33:46] Speaker D: Wisdom. I think wisdom is one thing that is missing for our women in our generation. To be honest with you, when it comes to this, women keeps tending to act out of desperation when you don't feel good, when don't look good, messes with your identity, messes with your confidence. Right. And you're like, oh, my gosh, I need to get out of this place asap.
But we keep going back, you know, defaulting to what is the fastest way, what is the quick fix, what. You know, that is one of the biggest challenges that I have as a coach, you know, to coach, because a lot of them still with this mindset of how can I do this fast? How can I give me the pill, give me the shot.
[00:34:31] Speaker B: Sometimes things are just a process and you just got to trust it and ride it out.
[00:34:34] Speaker D: It is a process.
[00:34:35] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
And ride it out.
[00:34:39] Speaker D: Yeah. Hormones are no joke. You know, you got to take your health serious.
You know, you can't just, you know, oh, blindly go and do things.
Not when you are going, if there is a time, if There is a time that you don't want to play with your body, with your health is right now between perimenopause. You do not want to because hormones is like you said in the beginning, are powerful.
Hormones have the power to make you extremely happy or extremely unhappy or remove everything that you a miserable one to kill yourself, literally.
[00:35:21] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's, it's, it's. I'm not gonna say awful because that's how you know the body runs. But you do have to be mindful and be intentional.
Very powerful.
[00:35:32] Speaker D: Very powerful. You gotta learn how to play with them.
[00:35:35] Speaker B: So what's next for you? Where can people find you or find out more about you?
What are you doing?
[00:35:41] Speaker D: I have something right now that I think it would be, you know, super helpful for a lot of your listeners if you're like, okay, all right. You are just another one talking, right? I don't even know anymore who is what, who is real world, not so. I have two things going on that I would love to offer to your audience. Number one, if you are a woman that you already got burned out with all the programs, other coaches, you are so confused, you don't even know who you trust and you're like, okay, this all sound good, but how do I know, right? I have a seven day free trial for my program, so I can give you the link. You can. It's a free trial. You log in, you fill out a quick form, you're going to receive an email, check your spam because sometimes it goes. There's a. You're going to receive an app, my app, a link to download my app. And then you're going to be inside my world. I'll coach you there with my team for seven days.
That is one option. Option number two, I have a fantastic. I don't know when this podcast is going to be released, but it's an early Mother's Day scholarship that I call it award. And I'm going to be giving one lucky woman a full scholarship to work with me for six months where we are going to be doing full blown full blood panel. We work with an HRT clinic. I have, you know, a team of registered dietitian hormone specialists.
The whole team, you're gonna come in and you're going to win a full scholarship and then I'm gonna give seven partial scholarships.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:37:23] Speaker D: So it's gonna be a big party up in here with.
[00:37:26] Speaker B: Oh, it sounds like it. Okay.
[00:37:28] Speaker D: I'm bless some ladies and really just give it back. But also see this woman transforming and that's yeah, Women is nothing more rewarding than Sierra.
[00:37:40] Speaker B: Yes, absolutely. When we're all on one accord, we are very powerful.
[00:37:44] Speaker D: Amen.
[00:37:45] Speaker B: Yeah, we are very powerful. You know, you have to erase that line of division and just get on one accord. This is wonderful. I have so enjoyed talking to you as I knew I would. I know I would. I have enjoyed this, but definitely have to do it again. Yeah, that information down in the. The comments.
Comments. I'm thinking about social media again. Somebody was talking to me about that earlier and we'll put it down in the description of it so that they can have that information about scholarship and where to find you and all that good stuff.
That is it. We'll do it again soon.
[00:38:17] Speaker D: Let's go. Thank you so much for your time.
[00:38:21] Speaker E: Hey, have you been feeling stuck like you should be further along in life by now? You're doing all the right things.
